CTAA has been advised that as Transurban and the Victorian Government get ready to open the West Gate Tunnel in December, new signs are being uncovered on key routes to and from the Tunnel – including along the West Gate Freeway.
Truck operators will see signs relating to the heavy vehicle toll point located on the West Gate Freeway between Millers Road and Williamstown Road.Β Transurban has assured CTAA that the toll point won’t be switched on until the West Gate Tunnel is operating.
Meanwhile, Freight Victoria is hosting a “Getting Ready for the West Gate Tunnel” Webinar on Friday, 28 November (10am to 11am), including latest information on the No Truck Zones to be enforced in Melbourne’s inner west when the WGT is opened.
