Protesters again caused massive economic disruption to freight movements for three hours at Webb Dock in the Port of Melbourne on 15 Sept 2025.
Protesters suspended themselves from tripods, while vehicles and people were used to block the entrance to Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT), as well as access to other port facilities at Webb Dock.
Worryingly, there are reports that the protesters targeted trucks to cut air & brake lines between the prime mover and trailer and graffitied containers with spray paint. This demonstrates a premeditated intent by the protesters to come armed with weapons and devices to commit criminal damage.
