Hutchison Ports Australia (HPA) has issued 60-day Notices of Intention to increase their landside fee tariff and storage & handling charges at their container terminals in Sydney and Brisbane from 22 May 2023.
CTAA sees no justification for the implementation of a new fee which will penalise the use of Higher Productivity Freight Vehicles (HPFVs) entering HPAβs Sydney Terminal.
Also, CTAA is encouraging HPA to establish formal forums in Sydney & Brisbane to engage directly with their container transport operator “customers” on productivity and efficiency investments & initiatives.
