Getting Ready for the West Gate Tunnel Industry Expo Event

The West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP) is hosting a (free) Interactive Industry Expo titled “Getting Ready for the West Gate Tunnel”:

WHEN?: Tuesday, 27 May 2025

Attendees can choose between one of three of the same sessions, held 9am –11am, 11:30am – 1:30pm, or 2pm – 4pm.

Each session will feature an introductory presentation followed by time to learn about the West Gate Tunnel and the No-Truck Zones in an exhibition-style format.

WHERE?: Western Grounds (Western Bulldogs Football Club), 417 Barkly Street, Footscray.

This expo-style event is designed to help industry stakeholders get ready for the West Gate Tunnel to open later this year, and will support businesses with learning everything they need to know about:

• Navigating the new road network in various vehicle sizes and classes
• Preparing for West Gate Tunnel tolls with information on pricing structure and toll point locations
• Understanding the new No-Truck Zones coming into effect in Melbourne’s inner west when West Gate Tunnel opens.

You’ll be able to “drive” the tunnel in Transurban’s simulator and receive help to plan for next financial year with information tailored to individual business needs.
