Diesel Price & Fuel Supply Update – 18 May 2026

The average Terminal Gate Price (TGP) for diesel has flattened out and remains reasonably steady across Australia’s major capital cities.

However, the TPG price is still 22.6% above the price of diesel before the conflict in the Middle East began (i.e. Nat Av TPG as of 2 March 2026 = 165.7cpl vs Nat Av TPG at 15 May 2026 = 203.1cpl).
