WGTP Closure of Shepherd Bridge – 28 April to 1 May 2023

The West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP) has advised CTAA that it needs to close Footscray Road over Shepherd Bridge this weekend from 8pm this Friday, 28 April to 5.30am, Monday 1 May 2023.

CTAA has again indicated to the Government and the West Gate Tunnel Project consortium that the proposed heavy vehicle detour is not ideal as it does not accommodate the heavier permitted weights for higher productivity freight vehicles (HPFVs).
