NSW Heavy Vehicle Access Policy

As part of its broader Freight Policy Reform Program, the NSW Government has released a draft Heavy Vehicle Access Policy for consultation.

The NSW Government has said that the “Heavy Vehicle Access Policy is being refreshed to ensure we remain responsive and agile to changing markets, emerging vehicle technologies and the increasing freight task.”

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has announced a specialised workshop for heavy vehicle and road freight industry stakeholders on Thursday 9 May, 11am-1pm to hear broad feedback on the draft policy.

Written submissions are encouraged through to Friday, 31 May 2024.
